On looking out of the window at 5 a.m this morning, the world was white (w00t) . An early morning snowfall had caused some clubs to cancel racing :( . Luckily for the folks booked in to Gloucester, a rapid thaw ensured the meeting could go ahead as planned  . There were a number of dogs trailing with just two groups for racing today split into light and heavyweights.

Had a lovely day. Had 3 trials with 3 of our dogs and everything went perfectly.

It wasn't too cold when the sun was out. Thanks for a very enjoyable racing experience.

Well Done Buz and Sam

It was blooming cold, We've only just thawed out now :)

What you on about Lou? - you were dressed from head to foot in thermals (w00t)

Well done to the winners today - lovely day all round, shame it's the last at Gloucester for a while - but watch this space - there may be an extra meeting in May

:huggles: Well done and hugs to Sam (Fly the Wind), not so long since he was a puppy inside my jumper - but he's grown into a fine young dog, and will open a few eyes this year I'm sure

Thanks for the results Jo, and glad you came even though you weren't running any dogs (that's commitment for you - or was it the thought of the warm pub after? ) See you again soon :huggles:

Without the thermals I wouldn't have got out of the van (w00t)

Was that Lou inside that snow suit and balaclava then ?

Well, I dont know what you lot were on about, I wasnt even wearing a coat!!!

You should come along to a few speedway meetings and it would soon sort you all out LoL

Thanks to everyone who worked in the near Arctic (Ahem) conditions, was good to get a few runs (or attempted runs in Chyppe's case :b ) for the boys.

Tyler enjoyed his last and nearly last places and Fletch loved winning three times (Oh to run in one dog races all of the time!!!!)

Sorry, Im having a funny five minutes - must be that the cold got into me!!! :teehee:  :teehee:

and also sorry that we didnt make it to the pub, grumpy Rob wanted to get home for the football (& exciting it was too - except he was asleep before half time!!!)

Well done to all the runners and winners and many thanks to June, Steve & the lovely Nibbs for helping with the Chypster

Hoping that there will be some more racing soon or even Geoff's idea of running on a weds evening could come off - we would defo be up for that! Toodle pip folks :D

Wednesday evenings :) I'll ditch agility for that any day, Daisy treats it as an extra race date anyway (w00t)

and it was really really cold today :- "

For any-one interested, we are hoping to run on the 18th May. Watch the board and listen to the bush telegraph for a definite arrangement. I am sure there will be enough of us judging by the interest today.......

Darcia, you're not old enough for the menopause! I am normally the one who is under-dressed, are you sure you're not going down with any-thing?

No, Im fine Jo  and to proove how hot and sunny it was, here is a picture of Chyppe relaxing under a sunshade with a beer in his paws waiting for his first trial! 8)
