Despite the weather forecast earlier in the week, we escaped the predicted gales by hours and were instead favoured with a mild, breezy and sunny day. The calm before the storm I imagine! (w00t) :sweating:

There seemed to be millions of trialing dogs, puppies and racers at the club today.

“Chyppe”, Darcia and Rob's young charge, had a great day today, as did “Smidge”, belonging to June and Steve Jonigk. It has been very interesting to watch these two puppies progress week on week.

An extremely enjoyable time was had at the pub after the racing. There was lively discussion on several topics including; Crufts Best in Show, weight groups at the Champs, and last but by no means least the much-anticipated litter of Conway Celt x Timekeeper , due the end of this week! Best wishes to Penny, Dave, Lynne, Nigel and Judy and all prospective puppy owners. Here’s hoping you all get what you wish for! :luck: :luck: :luck:

I put this on the main thread but Ill add it here aswell:

Had another lovely day at Gloucester today, was great to have the sun shining down on us :D

Once again there was some good racing and some close finishes, well done to Keeper who showed the young guys and girls how to do it in the heavy weight group and to Busby in the light weights

Many thanks to June and Steve for their help with Chyppe, was really pleased with his progress today - feel like we are finally getting somewhere

Well done with Smidge also, who was looking really good running in company. Im really sorry but doesnt look like you will have Merle to run with for a few weeks, I was right about that leg, he's quite uncomfortable on it now and the bruising is starting to come up. He's being spoilt rotten with lots of extra chews and extra cuddles at the moment If you would like to use Tyler instead you would be most welcome to and we would happily pull him out of the racing.

Hopefully all being good we will see you next week :huggles:

Oh no, poor Merle, give him a :huggles: from us, we are so grateful to you and him for helping Smidge to learn to run with others. We were so pleased with him today. We would be very happy for Smidge to run with Tyler, but don't want you to pull him out of racing. Perhaps a run after racing? Or maybe if you are coming later next week, we could run them together. We'll leave it up to you - see what time you get up  Lou did say she might be there with Daisy for us again next week, and Geoff did say Ben could run with Smidge also, so don't worry too much about it.

Chyppe was a little star this week wasn't he - he's really started to enjoy it, and it's good to see his progress every week

Well done to the winners today, it was a lovely meeting, and great to have a gossip in the pub after - even if they don't want to feed us   For some reason, they keep losing our food orders   :teehee:

See you all next week  Can't wait ;)

Thanks for a lovely day, Moz and Daisy both cream crackered last night

I've not put Daisy in for racing next week June, I've saved her for Smidge so shes all yours if you want her :D if you dont let me know by thursday and I'll bung her in racing as I rather she ran in company as shes a fiend to catch on her own :b

See you all next week

Hi Lou - we love Sunday evenings, all of the dogs crash out in front of the fire, and we have peace to watch Dancing on Ice :D Normally there's a steady flow of dogs wanting to go outside for a wee - why they can't coincide their visits I don't know, and Smidge is just nosey, he wants to look outside every half hour, just in case something is going on that he needs to know about

Mozza ran well for you again yesterday - you must be pleased with him

We would love to book Daisy for next week if you don't mind, and maybe we might add another dog too as Smidge was such a good boy yesterday Just sorry his little mate Merle has an injury - just shows how well we know our dogs, Darc knew he wasn't right before any bruising showed.

So, a new name for Daisy - Daisy the puppy trainer  :p

See you next week :teehee:

Daisy now booked for Smidge :D I supose Daisy the puppy trainer is a much nicer name than the one she has at home (w00t)

Hope you feel better soon Merle :huggles:

Lots of luck to Penny and all in waiting :luck:

Thanks Lou

Yes, we are all waiting for the arrivals, hopefully some time this week - I suspect Penny will keep us all waiting

Fingers crossed for all, hoping there are plenty of pups to go round. Please let us know Dave/Lynne asap, I can't stand suspense

Still think there is a blue girlie in there for you Lynne  :luck:

Had a great day again - even the weather was kind to us. Was so proud of old Keeper, I can't believe the way is still running at 8 years of age

Smidge is coming on a treat and Chyppe looks like he is really starting to get the hang of it now. I hope Merle is OK soon Darc & Rob. Give him a hug from us and Riley. I thought Colin's Molly is looking very promising too.

Thanks for all you good wishes over Penny & Keeper's litter

Hope to see you all next Sunday. On the other hand, we may be doing something else...... ;) :luck:
