has the bwra club teams event ever taken place on the bends, i think it would be more entertaining than on the straights.

Yes, but It was met with less enthusiasam that the straights!!!!, I always thought it would be more entertaining, better venues etc but there are an awful lot of dogs out there which only run straights, therefore this could limit the number of dogs the regions have.

I'm not sure if there were club team champs but the regional team champs hadn't been well supported for years but in it's time it did get a good turn out it's only about the last 10 years that it's support dropped dramatically which was helped along with all the clubs that folded.  In it's time it was a brilliant day out with a lot better atmosphere than the straight club champs because obviously anything can happen in bend racing and the excitement was double that of the straight's.

Most regions had an open which dogs had to qualify through which made getting there on the day quite special.
