Hi i feel as a new member i am getting very mixed messages.

I would love to bring an italian greyhound into my family, however i get the feeling this is a closed community, that only people who are "in the society" seem to be welcome to have one. Could someone enlighten me as to what the protocol here is please. i am a normal family with with one child a husband and a 4 year old westie, who would love a playmate. thanx
