Kerri has been to the vets this morning, she was having a bad time of it as with both front legs sore and swollen she could stand if put on her feet but would not walk.
Vet gave her a Cortizone injection and a good dose of anti-biotics, I'm just about to give her a cool water bath as her back feet have also swollen up with the grazing, then it's just a case of easy does it as there is still a little bleeding. At this point I don't think she'll be racing again, it was our intention to continue letting her run at club until her season where she would be mated and then retire but it looks as though the retirement has caught her up.
In the meantime with the injection she has been able to get out in the garden so can do her business by herself which is a good thing all round.
Thankyou to everyone who asked after her, in keeping with her regular day-to-day life she will continue to be spoilt rotten, most especially by Mum.
