I don't know if I was being had or whether this true? A friend told me of a racing greyhound who kept coming second in the races. The owner had his eyes checked and the dog was short-sighted, therefore following the dog in front because he couldn't see the hare clearly. They got contact lenses for the dog and he then shot to win, making a lot of money for the owners because the odds were so good for them, the hound having never won before. Could this be true?.

There was a short film called "Grace" made up here in '05 and that was the plot! Don't know if was based on a true story (maybe the same story you heard) or maybe your friend saw the film? ;)
