Hi Friends old and new,

... Celia and I say, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE help GRF.

Last year our overland kennel water supply froze on 30 days of last winter. This entailed lugging buckets of water through the snow for washing, cooking, toilets and cleaning the dogs - a nightmare in fact - which we do not relish this winter.

The RBS Community Force have put up three £6000 awards for the top three community, charity, charitable projects. We have entered our project and it is entered in the South Fife geographical area. The awards go to the three projects registering the most votes on the internet. Votes are being cast at the moment and GRF are hanging in second spot with four or five projects all close together. Thus we need EVERY SINGLE VOTE. Please can you spare a minute ?

All you do to read about the project and to vote is to go onto www.greyhoundrescuefife.com and click the Fife forum. The thread on the RBS Community Force Project tells you what to do. It is quite simple. Remember all over 16's can vote and get as many of your friends as possible to help.

Only just seen this post so went through the process, what a marathon!, only to find that it is now closed an no more votes can be registered. :angry:

Hi Guys,

Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

We got most votes.

Results are:

1. Greyhound Rescue Fife 1158.

2. Riding for the Disabled 884.

3. Dalgety Bay Playgroup 449.

4. Radio West Fife 384.

etc.

One small snag. Everyone's votes are to be validated and winners announced on 4th November. However, look at our lead.
