yes it"s a shame this once great event was"nt addvertised as it used to be one of the best opens of the year. well done all winners :D

This event was 'advertised' in the top ten calendar in the whippet news by the editor C. Cornish and therefore should be honoured-as such.

The fact that there wasn't a standard advertisement is nothing to do with the racers attending so they/us should not be penalised for this.

We travelled for 6 hours in total today to this event on the understanding that it was a top ten open-I'm sure the editor will be professional enough to allocate points accordingly.

yes karen i totally agree with you. i said the same thing today i cant remember who told me but somebody did that it wasnt going to be a top ten open?

Well done to those who attended the open. But can anyone tell me why it was not advertised. As you say John its always being a good open I hadnt anything to run but I thought it had been cancelled with no advert being in the whippet news.I understand the handicap is no longer being held either it would be nice if someone could update the the North East as Coxlodge is in the North East Region of the BWRA just so we know whats going on. 27 turned up!

We made our own enquiries as others did-owing to the absence of an ad/format.

We made the journey to this open as it is still advertised in the top ten calendar-

If the rumours are correct that points won't be allocated-surely there should have been an ad/notice/retraction stating this in the whippet news prior to 27 people travelling.

Lets hope this is not so-

Hope to see your dog running again soon Woody-
