I have just spoken to Yvonne and she has just informed me that Cracked It (zac) was savaged by an alsation today as she was walking him. The dog put its head out of the fence it was behind and grabbed hie and was trying to drag him through. Lucky for zac he was still on his lead and Yvonne could pull him back. The dog had Zac's whole head in his mouth. At the time of writing he is still in the vets and has been operated on, he had a punctured artery in his neck and some puncture wounds in his head, hpoe all goes well Yvonne and Tony and we all wish Zac a speedy recovery :)

Gutted for you Yvonne.Hope all goes well at the vet's.This is a thing that's happening all too often, with these so called guard dog's or whatever. It could just as easily been a child's head that the brute had in his mouth. Then it would make front page,in the paper's,and be headline's on theTV new's.But when it's only another dog,(as some ignorant git's would say),then it dont even make the next door neighbour's,never mind front page.Hope he mend's quickly Yvone.Get the authorities out. ...Billy...

It must have been horrific..............i hope Zac's ok

Have just spoken to Yvonne and Zac is home and comfortable, but quite understandably she is still worried about him. Both Shelly and I have walked Yvonnes dogs along the public footpath where this terrible incident happened, the owners house boundry hedge runs along side the footpath. The fact that the hedge is not secure enough to keep two vicious dogs in is total irresponsibility on behalf of the owners, and I hope there is some recourse on their part.Have told Yvonne to report the incident to the appropriate authorities, which I hope will ensure this can never happen again.Hope Zac feels better soon Yvonne :huggles: Karen

Sorry to read about Zak, hope he's feeling better soon. :flowers:

OMG how awful. That dog and owner should certainly be reported....however could it get its head through the fence?

Hope Zak is okay now. Must have been an awful shock for him though.
