FIRSTLY THANK YOU FROM ERICA + MYSELF FOR THE MESSAGES OF SUPPORT FOR HARLEY .

UNFORTUNATELY HARLEY HAS BROKEN BOTH BONES IN HIS FRONT LEFT LEG ABOUT AN INCH ABOVE THE KNUCKLE.

HE WAS KEPT IN THE VETS OVERNIGHT ON SUNDAY AND WAS OPERATED ON ON MONDAY .

WE GOT A CALL OFF THE VET TO TELL US HE WAS VERY PLEASED THE WAY THE OPERATION HAD GONE, THE BONES HAVE GONE BACK INTO PLACE WELL AND HAS HAD A METALPLATE INSERTED.

HE MUST NOW HAVE 4-6 WEEKS COMPLETE REST TO GIVE THE LEG EVERY OPERTUNITY TO HEAL.

DUE TO THE PLATE BEING SO CLOSE TO THE KNUCKLE HE WILL BE REASSESSED IN 6 MONTHS TIME TO SEE IF THE PLATE NEEDS TO BE REMOVED.

ALL BEING WELL IF THE LEG HEALS OK THERE SHOULD BE NO REASON WHY HARLEY CAN,T RACE AGAIN.

BY THE TIME YOU READ THIS WE WILL HAVE HARLEY BACK HOME AFTER SPENDING A 2ND NIGHT AT THE VETS FOR AFTERCARE.
