Hello,

Hoping somebody can help my dog. He has been limping recently, I've seen a vet and she said that she couldn't find anything wrong. He started again today and after inspecting the leg in question, it seems that it is being caused by a few cracks on his pad which are fairly big, and open.

1) Is this a possible explanation for the limping (it looks fairly sore)

2) Are there any popular remedies to resolve and prevent.

Many thanks,

Simon and Angus.

Not sure about the cause of the limping, but you might find some advice on these threads, where the question has been asked about cracked or skinned pads and healing
