Advice needed, we have a large crate with a metal base for our beagle, we have a great thick memory foam mattress, then a comfy dog bed with a duvet... problem is we keep getting a wet patch between the metal base and foam mattress which causes some damp... luckily it's not penetrating though the huge foam but still it's annoying, i think it's like a condensation heat of the dog with the cold base... is there anything to stop this...i saw some kind of cover for the metal base damp stopper thingy but for the life of me can not remember the name....helpppppppppp

Most crates come with a plastic tray. Perhaps a layer of vet bed would prevent the condensation from the foam if you put it down first?
