i know we had this topic before, but i just came across dachshund x sheltie puppies price at £300 (w00t) can be seen with both parents.why do they let it happen? or is it deliberate mating

what amazes me is that folk pay these prices for a mongrel!

perhaps they are super-pedigrees, cos they got pedigree parents on both sides ;)

I don't know who is worse - the people who do this on purpose, or the dip-sticks who pay this sort of money, funding the next litter?

imagine this ........... toy yorkie X whippet/bedlington/greyhound :x :x I'm so glad I got Indi snipped!!!

I've had nightmares about Chance having his pups  long, long legs with a yorkie head and body!! *shudders*

seriously though I think breeds should stick to there own or own type e.g my gorgeous lurcher is a mix I truely love,

btw I do like chi's x with yorkies theres sooooo cute!! there's one where I live and it's just the cutest thing ever!! but I wouldn't have one, one terrier type in the house is more than enough! give me a hundred sighthounds any day!!

i agree Tina, but unfortunately its never going to happen at least with a lurcher you know roughly how big the pups are going to be etc.what i don't like is people deliberately letting theirs dogs having litters with unusual breeds crosses. i think lurcher types sighthound make the best pets, working and show dogs. a lurcher has been going for years and years.

just a few i came across; Jack Russell xDalmation puppies (w00t) Staffordshire x whippet puppies (w00t) and Labradoodles at £600 per puppy (w00t)

I knew a Labradoodle many year ago - she was a lovely dog - really laid back with a super temperament   . I can't imagine the owner would have paid anything for her as in those days crossbreeds were usually given away free!!
