Another Crufts over again for this year. Shopped til I dropped over the two days I was there. Its always great to meet up with old friends each year and put faces to names of those you only normally converse with on the internet. We are always so lucky being in Hall 5 away from the mayhem of the rest of the show. It is surprising how much the Iggies love Crufts especially the green carpet. Abby did her party trick of scooting along it on her neck round and around.

It is always great to be in the cards but I wouldnt want to put a price on how much it cost to get there over a year.

Well done to everyone in the cards and a special well done to Lily who was also made a new Champion on the day, where better place to do than Crufts.

Hi, not sure about how to become an official photographer at Crufts. I'm sure it would cost an arm and a leg. No the photos I've taken won't be available for purchase but anyone who wants to use them can do so freely as some have already done. Opps just took a look at my facebook settings. Thank you for sharing your photo album. A big thank you to Sue Thomas for helping to identify and name us all just in case no one knows who we are LOL.

I think it was great that Sue took the time to name everybody ( must have taken her ages) as there were a lot of people who came to watch us all who had no idea who anyone was and it is nice for them to be able to put a name to a face.

I have to say a massive thank you to Andrew for taking so many fantastic pictures of us all, thanks to you I now have some wonderful pictures to treasure from a fantastic day.

Also I must say thank you to those who came to support us, there were so many family and friends and it made for a wonderful atmosphere - you must all come again.

Sorry to hear about your Mum Nicky hope she recovers soon.

Cant say I saw a big audience around the ring of people who didnt already know who everyone else was.

More importantly Liza-Jane, has anyone actually asked the people concerned in the photographs if they actually wanted to have their name put to a face?

BTW I havent seen any photos of you on there, have I missed them?

Andrew, if people requested either to have their photos or their names removed from the album would you be happy to do this?

Some of the photos are great and the concept of posting them was a nice gesture but only if it doesnt become another way to have a pop at the IG people who used to post on here and who because it is Facebook cannot challange what is being said about them.

Am I being nieve and missing something, but why the negativity? Whatever happened to "freedom of speech", as someone who is a voyeur rather than a participant, I was fascinated to put faces to names; some were nothing like I imagined and some were exactly as I thought they would be......... There is a de-tagging element on Facebook.

One has to wonder why anyone wouldn't want people to know who they were???? :unsure: Surely being at Crufts they would want people to know who the dog belonged to - well if they were proud of it they would. Seems a little unfair to the poor lady who trawled through and added all the names. I found it interesting anyway

Oh I see like someone saying to their Wife " I'm just popping down the pub for a couple" and then turning up in photos running round the ring with an Italian Greyhound on lead at Crufts :blink: :blink: :blink: Or maybe you mean someone that might be claiming disability allowance being seen trotting round instead of on their sticks !!! Where else would someone be if they had qualified and paid for their entries for Crufts. Also how can you ask people at a public event when you don't even know their names !!! Jan if you had looked at my other facebook albums you would have seen Liza-Jane and Sue had their photos put on in a different album 4 days before the rest !!! :thumbsup:

Hey dont laugh that does happen. The benefits people would have a field day if they went to some of the shows PMSL

Seriously though on the day I was asked several times by visitors if it was okay to take a picture of my dog, so people do ask.

June, I dont enter Crufts to be seen, I go to Crufts because it is a dog show. I withhold my address and telephone number from the catalogue as I am not there to promote my kennel or puppy sales. I dont actually need anyone to know who my dog belongs to and if I did I would put a flaming big advert in the dog papers with all the above details included. And if People are so desperate to know who owns the dog they can approach me or they can always look up my ring number in the catalogue. I've already had my 15 minutes of fame so dont crave anymore ta

Joanna, You lost me talking about freedom of speech when we were talking about the written word. Although Donna and Andrew have kindly let us have access to their Facebook Album (or albums which I have obviously missed) as we are not "friends" we could not untag(?) a picture if we wanted to nor make any comments in response to the ones that have already been made (and very interesting comments some of them have been too, must tie in somewhere with your freedom of speech theory methinks!!)
