Before any one starts Ive just spoken to Lynns ,Mum Eva and she says that her son, James agent for speedway took it upon himself to ring the Kennel Club and told them any inqueris about Lynn and Dee Dee were to go through him .

The Sun newspaper rang him to arrange an interview and he told them they could have one for £1,000.00 !!

So they have now printed that Lynn and Co are money grabbing Breeders when they had no idea about it at all !!

So please do not believe everything you read in the paper .

Eva says that the camera crew were round at Lynns at 4.30am this morning and she has done over 20 interviews , with out money ever being discussed )

Our young son Harry has been featured in local, national newspapers and with both the BBC and GRANADA television + radio-they were reporting on his success with his racing whippet-no money was ever mentioned or expected from any of the media-he thoroughly enjoyed the experience and considered it a honour to be given a mention.

I'm sure the lady and her winning whippet from Crufts is nothing of a money grabber-the media attention thing just spirals with phone calls/interviews from one source to another.

We have discovered that everyone loves a good animal/dog story - especially if there is also a child involved.

Beejay here writing on Lyd's PC. Just to say that when we read the story tonight we didn't believe it. It just didn't ring true at all.

Sorry to hear that some people are wanting to distract from their win in such a nasty way.

I don't know 1 day of celebrations and then the shit starts. Sad old world. We hope that it hasn't taken the shine off too much.

You know, I wouldn't really care if they had actually asked for money for their interviews - I reckon when you've done all the hard yards on your dog and it's won something as wonderful as this honour why not cash in on it? Why should anyone begrudge them that? Breeder-owner-handled - it's a great story and they deserve the accolades and I reckon they should milk it for all its worth!

Jax, do you know if Eva got my emotional congrats message left on her answering machine ???

This afternoon Ive had BBC radio Nottingham to ask if I will take part in a `LATE NIGHT CHAT` programme ! He`s says it will be broadcast all over the Midlands area

Its all down to Lyn and Dee Dee winning B IS , they said they wanted to speak to someone who is passionate about Whippets ! Do you think I qualify ?

Its tonight at 10 pm ish If I make a fool of myself and say something stupid I apoliise now !!

I want to put whippets over as the best breed in the world but then again i don`t want people wanting them for the wrong reasons do I !

I like the fact that we have a breed that dosnt appeal to every one , and that only true Whippet lovers are prepared to wait for the right puppy to come along. o

Phew , that was nerve racking to begin with :b ,but then I got into the swing of things ,

I just wish they had told me what questions they were going to ask before hand .

Well Ive done them both now .

Years ago I was on day time TV ,in a similar sort of programme that TRICIA does now . It was about people not wanting or badly wanting babies ( guess which I was !!) I enjoyed being on T V much more , I had the video till somehow we went over it
