Who is ready then ?

I was, Shyla has decided to come into season. (w00t) so she will now stay at home.

Mia last week decided to jump a barb wire fence after a bunny :sweating: SHE GOT IT TO. 8)

And got 2 long barb wire scratches down her brisket deep enough to scab up.

Hoping they will fade for the big day. :unsure:

As for Rush well he is currently raped up in cotton wool. JOKE !!!!!!!

Im looking forward to a lovely day out with friends. )

I'm looking forward to it now. It seems ages since I was last there with staying at home last year with a very heavily pregnant Ruby. It will be nice to sit there and watch the judging and not having to rely on people to text me updates throughout the day! :blink:

I'm most excited about seeing our little Rowan on the green carpet and hope that she is having one of her well behaved days!

My OH is coming along for the day; he's not been to a show in years now and is quite looking forward to it (not that he would admit it) but is already moaning about the early start. The joys of having a Puppy bitch!!

Well, at the moment my head is spinning with trying to remember everything! Someone to pick Ben up from college on Thursday, someone to feed the horses, meals to leave ready for the boys on Thursday and Friday (or money for takeaways) packing for OH and myself etc. etc. Luckily I have a 23 year old still living at home who can hold the fort, goodness knows what Ill do if he ever decides to leave home.....mind you, he'll probably never be able to afford to lol!

Miss Marmalade managed to get a small hole in her side yesterday in the garden, show side, and today come in with one of her white paws completely covered in blood - which luckily was only a small scratch, I bet I know what she's got planned for tomorrow - another roll in a chewed red ink pen!! I think Daisy is about to come into season too, I am beginning to wonder if someone is trying to tell us something.

You beat me to it Tina, I was going to post along these lines tonight. Hopefully Mia will be fully mended and pray that Rush stays wrapped up until Friday and doesn't decide to chew off the cotton wool! Early starts are a pain until you are in the car and then the excitement kicks in, and I'm sure that Rowan will do you proud Rachel. The very best of luck to you and Jo.

I love Crufts, when they are awarding BOB it always gives me goose bumps, I know I'm a big softee but I think that it is such a special time for our breed.

Have a lovely day everyone, enjoy your day out, and for anyone going for the first time you are in for a treat seeing so many beautiful whippets in one place.
