A little update on Daisy ,our Greyhound.We went to Chatsworth at the weekend,and had a great time.Josie,Debs daughter,took Daisy in Childhandling and won a 2nd,then she took her in Sighthound,and won a 3rd.We returned on the Sunday,where Josie took Daisy in again and won a 2nd,in a large class.We felt so proud of them both.Daisy and Josie now have a very special friendship,and are inseparable!!We were also very proud old Finn,who won reserve champ in under 23 racing on the Sunday,with China winning.

Our Cracker did us proud in his first adult race weekend,getting through the first heats in all his races.Well done to all the winners,it was a superb weekend.

Aah - don't they look good together.

Can't believe how quickly they bonded with each other. I bet the poor dog has slept all day after being run ragged by Josie all weekend.

She really is a beautiful dog. She's so chilled out and laid back.

Lovely to finally get to have a chat.Hope Archer has had a nice rest,it certainly was some very fast and furious racing.

I really enjoyed the weekend,and seeing Daisy so content was lovely for us.She was up for a run this morning,whereas the rest were shattered!!

Hi Vicky,

It was really lovely,as Daisy did not react to all the shooting etc,infact,she just chilled out on the bank whilst we watched the showing!!She is so perfect,we love her to bits.We had lots of lovely comments about her,she really looked the part in the ring.Josie is smitten,i think she will win child handling before the end of the year!!

Hows your baby doing?Deb said he is gorgeous!!

I agree Amanda, it was great to finally catch up ! And friendly people are what make Game Fairs such a nice day out. Archer :wub: was a tired boy yesterday .............doing that extra run up the bank took it out of him, but saying that, hes such a laid back kind of chap he usually lies flat out in between his heats, just a shame he didnt have time for a lie down between all of them :wacko: He slept all the way home, snoring loudly, but the minute we got back and he had said hello to the other dogs, he was ready for a walk!

Hi Chris,

Josie was keen to take her in,and Daisy was confident and happy with her.I really wanted her to get a first,she deserved it.Daisy is a big dog,and had never been in the ring before,and Josie did us proud!!

You will love Daisy,a real gentle lady.She has just had a belt round on the fields with Cracker,gives him a run for his money!!
