How do you get rid of dandruff on ya dog especially when my dog is black, makes it look worse

Get some Humilac from your vet or the Canine Chemist magazine, it works wonders for dry skin, it is a skin dressing not a coat dressing. Worked for me and my black greyhound!

I would try some oily fish in the diet, like sardines or pilchards in oil of course., if that helps you.??? :thumbsup: Diane

Have had this problem with a few black dog's after washing them,if they hadn't been done for a while.I find that plenty of grooming,(bout 20 minutes per day)does the trick.As well as getting rid of the white stuff,it gives me the perfect opertunity to inspect the dog's more closely for any wee ailments,and it gives them a great massage too.So 20 minutes a day is a 3n1 remidy to keeping them looking good,and feeling great.

A drop of vinegar in the rinsing water does the trick :thumbsup: and we always use Head & Shoulder's shampoo :thumbsup:
