Wow posting that picture took some doing! This is Danny (Elmanash Monsignor at Kizoku) when he was six months old at the end of October. He was bred by Roz and Fred Holland. I'd been to shows for some time looking for whippets I liked and talking to lots of people and was lucky enough to get Danny from Roz who has been very helpful and kind as I haven't owned whippets before and am new to showing. He qualified for Crufts at the Whippet Club of Wales in December (3rd in Minor Puppy) under Dave King and we've been getting showing practice in at some Open Shows before the bigger Champ Shows in the Spring and Summer. We've enjoyed it a lot and Danny is a joy to live with. He's settling down nicely in the ring but just needs to mature a bit more..he's a bit of a gangly teenager at the moment!. I've spoken to a few K9ers over the last months and hope to see you all in 2008.

DAMN you noticed. Took the photos for his 6 month birthday and couldn't find the clippers anywhere for his nails. They were sorted by the time he went in the show ring though. Growing pups change so fast and he looks different even a few months later but I am looking forward to some fun with him in 2008.

Jonathan :))

:luck: Good luck with the lad, especially at Crufts and for the forthcoming season. And don't worry about the awful teens, he will settle back into himself soon.

Good luck with Danny & looking forward to seeing you at Crufts

Glad you are enjoying showing him and have met some nice people.

Congrats on the Crufts qualification and yeah - there aren't many who miss out on the gangly teenager stage. He'll be right.

Good Luck with him at Crufts. :luck: :luck:
