Hi.

My oldest little devil (13month). Has discovered a fun new game – it’s called RIP THE BED OPEN..

I bought her a nice big warm bed, which she has had for about 6 months. But when this cold weather set in, she started pulling it along the kitchen floor towards the radiator. Her nails must have ripped the material, and she saw some lovely fluffy white material inside that looked fun. Needless to say – the hole was increased, and the bed removed.

I have now bought her 2 beds since then, (cheap one’s) but she has a taste for the white fluffy clouds on the inside of her bed…

My question – Is there a sturdy-but warm bed on the market that anyone can suggest ?

What about an ordinary duvet inside a duvet cover? Wouldn't be indestructible but might take her a bit longer to find the clouds! :D

Hi All.

After talks with Alfyn, I am going to buy a snuggle bed.

Have always thought they look nice and cossy.....

Let's hope my dear little devil thinks the same.....

Thanks for looking.

Alfyn's snugglebeds are great, we have a green one with a checked lining and I would be suprised if the little claws would easily rip the fabric, the seams stand up well too - Rifle's was somewhat overcrowded when his friend - a large black lab - decided to snuggle in with him!

The other thing you could try is a nice big piece of vetbed.

Bloggs is the same, now he knows that cushions and beds are full of all manor of exciting things (feathers anyone! (w00t) ) it's only a matter of time before he investigates.

I got a really big piece of vetbed, doubled it over and gave him that. It's lovely and comfy and there are no hidden delights for him to discover

(w00t) The only advise i can give you is don't let your dog eat the white stuff, my boy Trent did the same thing and ended up down the vets, because he swallowed it. :( thank god he learnt his lesson and doesn't do it now. Diane

Hi there,

I bought a snuggle bed from Aflyn which I use ontop of their bed (no need to do this!) and its superb - both my boys love them. They haven't tugged on it or pulled it around, but it does look superb and I think would certainly tolerate being pulled around, no chance of ripping it and its amazingly warm for them  Look on the market place, there are loads of designs and fabrics :D Hope you find the right one :luck:
