HOLLY%20Deerhound%20Lurcher%20006.jpg

Beautiful deer hound lurcher that is looking for a new home as her owner has just had a baby and the dog is not getting along with it, she is a lovely girl, very friendly and good with children, although we would advise older children. Holly is fully house trained and she is fine with other dogs, she travels well in the car and has already been spayed, she is also Micro chipped, so all she is looking for now is a new family to live with.

Holly looks lovely, but Nottingham is too far to travel for me. I'm in Aberdeenshire. Such a shame, but I'm sure she'll find a home nearby.

Have you seen Conrad yet on your original thread?

He looks lovely and in Dumfries so not so far away. Not quite sure where Dumfries is but at least it's not across the border!

Do you have cats or small furries?

Also hope Holly finds an excellent forever home soon.

How sure is the deerhound x in her? I ask not to be pedantic, but she looks perhaps more bedlingtonxcollie than the deerx description, I suggest this as from her size (unless pictured with a giant  ) and body shape, also the fact that she is having difficulty adjusting to a new baby in the house does not to me indicate Deerhound cross. I try to help with rescue up here and sometimes dogs have come in which people have taken on described as deerhound cross on coat alone, when clearly there is much or complete other influence which may reflect in an altogether different temprament, helps if folk have a clear idea of what breed could have gone into their rescue lurcher.

Course I could be completely wrong :- "

:luck: Holly with your new life :luck:

I do have a cat who lives in the basement. Holly looks awfully nice, but I've limited myself to 100 miles travelling to visit a prospective dog. Unfortunately Dumfries is a good 5 hour drive from here.

Woops I'm getting my dogs mixed up. Conrad is in Dunfries, not Holly!
