Hi everyone ~ I am relocating from Cornwall to Derbyshire. I do not know the area at all! We are looking at living in the Buxton-Chapel-New Mills area (working near Buxton). Can anyone who lives in these towns/areas help with dog walking advice as that will be a key factor in our choice. We have a border collie ~ finding long walks will not be a problem in the peak district but where are the best places for the twice daily hour long walks which must include a large proportion of safe off lead opportunities? And where are the good dog socialising places? During the summer I like to walk quite late in the evening so safety for owners is also a factor!!! We don't want to be reliant on driving to access the daily walks so need to know where the walks are so we can look for properties in those areas. Any advice would be hugely appreciated ~ many thanks.
