Hello all

My dog seems to have a skin problem on his nose which literally swelled up and started bleeding from nowhere. We took him to the vets immediately who prescribed antibiotics and an anti inflammatory where the course has almost finished. However, he has started acting a lot less like his usual self and his ears seem to twitch a lot. This morning I noticed his ears are scabby and bleeding at the bases and also a scab on his rear leg. We had been using a cone for his head as he kept itching and cutting his face. He seems to be getting worse and is just stood looking at the floor, not responding to his usual calls or even treats. I'll attach pictures of his face to show the problem. I'm going to get him to the vets asap but they are not open until 9am.

Thank you

I also should add that he seems to tremble a lot and his ears seem to twitch often.

Vets immediately.

Honestly don't know what could be up with your poor boy but I wish him a speedy recovery.

Please do let us know what the vets say.

Yes, vet's immediately and ask for a referral if they do not know what is wrong.

Did you get sorted? We live in Wrexham norh wales and have just had a confirmed case of alabama rot in wrexham, so get the vet to check for that too
