Looking for some advice. My mini yorkie is 11 years old and has just been diagnosed with Diabetes. Vet has suggested insulin injections, bit at his age, I don't want to cause him distress, as I feel he would hate being injected twice a day.

Trying to help through change of diet is another possible route. Anyone able to advise for experience what may be best?

I don't know about diet but if you can get his insulin dose stabilised, you can get an epi-pen type device so you don't actually inject with a needle.
