His Story: Dion's owner died and his non-doggie partner handed him into a pound in March 2012. He was a frightened boy in kennels. Dion came into foster with another dog and has built a great deal of confidence since. Dion is neutered, vax'd and chipped. Fostered in Ashstead, Surrey.

Advert: Dion is a large cross breed with a sensitive nature. He can have concerns meeting new people, but he is gentle, will take a treat from visitors and soon relaxes. Dion delights in other dog’s company; meeting and playing with them given the chance whether small or large. Dion is off lead and easy to manage and loves the car. Happy to be groomed and tolerates a gentle leader well. Dion is house trained and can be left.

Dion is a true crossbreed with Rottie, Shepherd and Collie reported to be in his genes. He has a beautiful tri-colour Shepherd coat. Dion loves his home, loves other dogs of all sizes and would love to live with another dog that plays. Dion is now looking for the opportunity to relax with a family unit ideally with a canine friend or two.

An update from Dion's fosterer:

"Dion, Chewie and I met up with Sarah and Diva this morning at Newlands Corner. It was rather wet & muddy, but the dogs had a nice time. Diva tried her best to get Dion & Chewie to play, and Dion was certainly tempted by her feminine charms, but there were too many smells to sniff.

Yes Diva, he is rather handsome..."!
