Hi, I'm having problems with my puppy I just got my neighbour is threatening me with the local authorities about the breed of my dog, I need to prove to him that my dog is not an XL bully which are banned or he is going to call the authorities which will take my best friend away until they do their own checks, I dont want to be separated please read my story here.

Hello and welcome - I've deleted your other threads, as replies get a bit messy when people try to respond to same the question in different places, and I'm afraid I've also had to remove your Gofundme link as we don't allow people to ask for money.

But in any case, a DNA test won't help because the legislation judges dogs purely on looks. A DNA result saying he isn't a banned breed makes no difference if he fits the measurements.

Is it possible or likely that he is an XL Bully? If not, what breed is he? And how old is he?

If you've only just got the pup, did you meet his parents? If you want to prove he is not an xl Bully, maybe go back to the breeders for advice?
