Dna Used To Track Greyhound Owner

dna is a wonderful tool and is bringing many criminals to justice. i hope they hit this man with an extremely high fine and lifetime ban on owning any animal.

This is taken from a passage of that newspaper article...

The investigation team will present its evidence to the IGB control committee within two weeks. If Aoife’s owner is convicted with the charge of cruelty and maltreatment of the greyhound, the man will be hit with a fine and banned from owning greyhounds and attending greyhound venues. The maximum fine is set at €2,000 but the committee is authorised to increase this if the case is deemed sufficiently serious.

Im sorry but no fine is too big.... he'll probably be given time to pay & this is not justice for what he has done... i can not express how i feel or what i would like to be done to these so called human beings, it disgusts me what people do times.

Would be more happy that who ever when all facts are given was taken before the crimanl courts.

If the IGB is the same as the NGRC the person will just laugh.

Just checked out your link Galty. Good idea, good site

Glad that they captured her and glad that they can trace her owner.

Got to hit the owners IMO. It's about time that they were held to be responsible for what happens to their dogs. They get away with things far too often IMO.
