Do I need to be with my puppy when she is sleeping during the day?

My wee lassie like all puppies sleeps a lot. Her bed is in the dining room, but I spend time in the sitting room when she is sleeping. Is that okay? I do occasionally check in on her from time and time and I tell her that she’s a good girl and give her a treat.

Am I doing anything wrong? I don’t think so, but I want your opinion. If anything, am I not doing the right thing by teaching her that I’ll be coming and going as an every day thing rather than just on a night time?

Thanks everyone.

If she's happy and settled while you're in another room I can't see a problem with that myself, (are the doors open so she can come find you if she wants?). You coming and going is a normal activity and if she's not anxious about it, then great!

You don't need to be next to your pup all the time. If it is sleeping soundly and seem to be ok by just hearing you are around, I would say that exellent way to teach it becoming more independent.
