Thinking of getting a running dog to work along side my ferrets and JR terrier, I've narrowed it down to either a bedlington whippet, or a pure whippet.

Going to be mainly bushing and ferreting, but also need a dog that will work to a lamp. Is the whipppet a good dog for this style of working?

Any advice would be great, thanks in advance.

Short answer is yes if you know how to train them. Ask this question in the coursing forum in case those who work their whippets don't find it here.

Is the Pope a catholic? Oh yes, whippets work well!!!! :D
