Met this lovely man again yesterday as we were driving through Kirkby Stephen where he lives-

His dog Glenbolt is now 16 years old-We often see him walking it as we drive through and he likes to stop and chat asking after other racers and their dogs.....

yes i remember him if i remember correctly i think he worked in the co-op supermarket in kirkby stephen, also glenbolt was a decent little dog 19/20 lber out of steinman X mo"s splender.

i can remember him from kirby steven club he use to race with a women called thelma dont no if it was hes wife or not.her girl and husband use to help run the club ,their dogs where called motivator and moet.

He seems to be on his own now-

He said he'd had alot of success with his dog/s

Feeds the 16 yr old with a cooked chicken from Asda once a week and 6 smarties every night! for his supper

Said he would like an old retired greyhound when Glenbolt goes for a companion-

Asked if Eric Wilson still had his string vest and......

also if Kenny M was still dodging gate money.......... :blink: lol lo lol

I remember Glen Bolt & Moet running at Lancaster with a women, can't put a face to the fella's name though.
