I am looking for a live in dog au pair in the North East of England but struggling to find an agency which can help. Please can you let me know if you have any experience of finding someone. thanks

There are quite a few Pet Sitting agencies. I worked for one for a while. They offer all sorts of services from daily visits to a live in option. Not sure they offered to find a permanent au pair but any of them might be worth a call to see if they have someone on their books that might be interested. They would, of course, lose one of their sitters if they put them in touch with you.

If you are successful and find someone then I would just let you know why I gave up pet sitting. I got bitten to death by fleas in the bed of one house and spent several days cleaning the kitchen and shower in another before I could use either.
