Anyone have a recipe for a dog birthday cake?

I share my birthday with my puppy Ripples - and whilst I absolutely dont do pet birthdays - we are having drinks on Saturday for my birthday and I thought it would be funny to get Ripples a cake too!

I've read a few online that say you put peanut butter in? Any ideas?

Brude usually gets a slice of our cake, with a dash of double cream

Are you going to feed the whole cake to the dogs?

essentially a normal cake recipe should be fine, you could omit the sugar using honey instead and use low fat spread and not butter, if you wanted to fill the cake ie like a sponge sandwich you could use low fat cream cheese.

Lily's Kitchen published a book which contains a lovely birthday cake recipe. The book is also available for Kindle via Amazon.
