:( - Help! anyone know what to do about stains on carpets caused by dog chews... my dog had a red lollypop shaped dog chew for Christmas, and guess what it's been vomitted up on my beige carpet. presumably it's some kind of food colouring. It won't come out with 1001 carpet cleaner and that normally shifts anything! I really don't like those Christmas chew packs because you don't know what's in the chews. That's definitly the LAST TIME I give one to my dog. She can give me all the woeful looks she likes....

anyone had a similar experience and found a cleaner that gets it out?

i have found in the past that if u make a paste of bicarb of soda and leave it on the stain for 40 mins it shifts most stuff. hope this helps

My living room carpet gets the bits stuck into it from those hide chews that they love, cant deprive them though they love em, cant have dogs without a bit of mess eh, so what i do is get on my hands n knees and pluck the bits out.

keith :D

Biologlical washing powder sometimes helps.

I know someone who gave their dogs these and it stained the carpet and he went to the pets shop in question and complained about the amount of food colouring in the chews and they apid for the carpet to be proffecionally cleaned.
