Dog Fighting On The Increase

The number of cretins in this country seems to be on the increase :(
 
:'( dogs give so much love and affection to anyone who gives them the time of day. how anyone can twist that love and abuse it for personal pleasure is beyond me. takes a real big man to use an animal as a weapon, doesnt it :rant:
 
Why do people get pleasure from watching dogs fight? It's horrid to watch. Money I suppose has a lot to do with it.

They are morons and need locking up. Remember a while ago those mothers getting their children to fight in front of a video camera, same mentality.

:angry: :angry: I saw a clip of a video the other day showing a man holding puppies about 7 weeks old :eek: by the scruff of the neck and encouraging them to

fight rather than just playfight :( :( it was awful to see :( :( What some people will do for money is unbelievable, these people want locking up :angry: :angry: :rant: :rant: :rant: :rant: :rant: :rant:

It's just dreadful, there has to be something seriously wrong with people who get pleasure out of watching animals tear each other to bits :rant:

Mind you, when you have somone like US football star Michael Vick convicted of the most brutal dogfighting including personally executing losing dogs by all sorts of horrible means come out of prison and not only resume his sports career but get sponsorship from Nike what sort of message is that sending out? Nike should be ashamed of themselves, and I certainly wouldn't touch their products ever again.
 
chief inspector Mike Butcher said himself in the press that the increase was virtually all asian men who werent like the old school dog fighters who fought dogs of the same weight under rules and had some knowledge of vetinary care and that they were also lifting dogs of the street
 
I went to a vintage rally last weekend and there was a charity stall raising money to rescue lurchers from Ireland. I was chatting to the people and stroking a beautiful big black lurcher boy when the lady lifted his coat and showed me the most horrific scars I've ever seen. They stretched from his shoulder all the way under his belly to his waist. She had been told a fox had done it but didn't believe it, she was convinced he had been used as a bait dog. The 'owners' had stitched him up using string rather than take him to a vet, which was why his scars were so knotted and raw and rough. I nearly burst out crying, and I'm normally a sensible/ no crying type. I had tears in my eyes and felt such anger I could have handed over everything I own to help these dogs.

There just seems to be a rise in these morons, not only dog fighting but attacking people on the streets and general abuse. My Mum saved up to buy herself a cheap convertible car, not a flash one, and got rid of it because of the abuse she got from dickheads in souped up Fiestas who would shout at her when she stopped at the lights shouting'who do you think you f***in are?'. They think everyone who works for a living and saves to buy themselves nice things has stuff handed to them on a plate and that they have the right to shout and jeer at anyone they think is different. It's like there's no sense of right and wrong, no awareness of a bigger picture only their own little mucked up world- it can get you really depressed if you think too much about it.
 
The staffy bitch I took to a Staffy Rescue foster home on Thursday had a number of scars on her neck and shoulders. The owner who had abandoned her had bought her off a mate just 3 weeks ago ... we now think, given her lovely temperament, that she had been tested against a fighting dog and having failed to fight back was sold on. The bitch was in season and the chap who abandoned her would have sold her on himself to a lady interested in breeding from her except that she has no papers. She is ... wait for it ... only 6 or 7 mths old. I am just so glad she is safe now.
 
the increase inchavs and asian with these dogs round here is scary. I offten spot them when I have our dogs out and ave to make a quick detore inanother direction i am not going to risk going any were near then with my lot. there seams to be a few big mastif types that alot are putting there staffys and bull bitches too. I wouldsay its got mucvh wores in teh last 12 months I didnt think twice of going out with a few of my lot in my chair but now have to be one step ahead cos if im ona footpath with no drop kerb i carnt the of and way if there coming towards me and they expect everyone to shift out of there way. your pritty safe in a morning going out cos these lot are still in bed. i feel so sorry for these dog cos even if they ar sezed there to visios they carnt be rehomed and have to be PTS

just as i am typing now a gang has gone past with to big bull crosses on chainstaking the hole street and road up

IMO prison is too good for these low life scum bags. Anyway I object to paying for their keep. They should be tarred and feathered and thrashed through the streets, then put in stocks so we can pelt them with rotting veg or worse. Then as the piece de resistance, how about 100 lashes to finish off, followed by being thrown to the lions at Longleat. Or alternatively we could doing something horrible to them, sure we could come up with something.
 
Just bumped into a fella this evening whose whippet is recovering from a 168 quid operation to stitch his shoulder after being bitten by a terrier. Same story, other bloke had no control of the dog, told the whippet owner that HIS dog needed to be on a lead. The terrier chased the whippet into a wooded area, whippet came running back bleeding.Then tried to claim that the whippet had torn himself running through trees when it obviously wasn't a tear, it was a chunk bitten out!

Have also seen a big rise in the number of big bull type dogs. Spoke to one lady who freely admitted her dogs had been taken off her for ten weeks for a police investigation into whether they were pit bulls. She had them back, off lead and luckily they seemed ok (but not friendly)with my two. She asked me if they looked like pit bulls to me. I said no. Of course I said no, her dogs scared me to death, I've never been that close to pit bulls before :eek:
