Hi all you lads and lasses in Ireland.I'm trying to find a fella called Billy, who purchased a pup out of our dog 'Del Boy'.He called his pup 'Del Boy' too,and raced in the late 1990s,winning alot of lurcher racing events in Ireland. We last saw Billy when he came over to race at Chatsworth, and although we know that his dog came back over to England and raced as 'Uncle Albert' with the whippets. We wondered if Billy had any success with racing greyhounds,as the last time we spoke he said he was going to give it a go. If you're out there Billy?we'd love to here from you y

Hi rodders, i remember billy, was it 'Billy Craig'? he owned Delboy and Miss Ellie and did very well with him racing over here, Miss Ellie stayed here and i heard that delboy had went back of to england to race! but havnt seen him about at all, i never knew him as such but knew of him, last i heard was that he didnt live in ireland anymore?? but dont quote me on it, im sure sum one else who knows him will see this and be more informative! :)

Hi Miss Madam, thanks for the reply.Yes it was Billy Craig, hopefully someone else will know how he's doing.I've got another question for you.Billy sent me a picture of 'Del Boy' when he got older. He also sent me a picture of 'Miss Ellie',a fawn bitch. Is this bitch the mother of racing whippets'Come on Ernie and 'Come on Sue'.

Yes she is the mother of come on ernie and come on sue, they are out of the first litter bred to a greyhound called 'come on cheif' she has been bred again since that to a greyhound called 'Martys Star' which i have a pup out off myself, there is 2 more pups out of the second mating here in ireland also, there shud b 3 more in england somewhere! :)

Hello rodders, remember me? I'm the chap who gave you Del Boy! Nice to see you on K9! I hope you find Billy.

yours in sport Geoff Fletcher

Hi Milly(Geoff) how could we forget you.You got me into serious racing in the first place. Not George and Phil who reckon i didnt know a thing about dogs till I met them. What they forget is you and I have won Chatsworth on more than one occasion.Mind you I forgot now that Peggy won Chatsworth under 23ins last year George has another claim to fame and Phil is one step on the ladder.Mind you seeing as I got them the bitch in the first place, and I would have never have met Chris Slater if you hadn't given us Del,then maybe you and I can claim another victory at Chatsworth. On another note, glad to see your pups have done really well, and Ive seen your new pup today. She looks a little cracker.Hope she makes the weight you want.I'm sure in your capable hands she'll do well.Right thats enough creeping for one day.Hope to see you and Hazle soon. Happy New Year Karen .

All the very best to you and George. o:)

Hi Miss Madam yet another question. There was another chap who used to come over to Chatsworth, his name was Billy Harper I think. Is he still around? I haven't been to Chatsworth myself for a few years,it doesn't seem to have the same status anymore.I might start a new topic on the way Chatsworth has changed the over the past years.Past lurcher racers must remember the days when to declare yourself having the fastest lurcher you had to travel to Chatsworth and race all comers.Nowdays there are other shows which have as much if not more prestige.I'm babbling on a bit,so i better sign off.Maybe you or anyone else who reads this message has some old memories of racing and other events(high jump, hurdling, coursing, long jump)at Chatsworth, if so lets hear from you.

Does anyone remember any of these names, Sally, Bow, Penny, Tay, Milly, Midge, Sunny Jim, Bonnie, Lady, Mona. from 1986 to 1998 will try to post some pictures
