Hi - I am quite an experienced dog sitter (dogs come for holidays in my home). I’m currently sitting 2 Pomeranian brothers who are lovely BUT they are incredibly reactive. The owner has requested I don’t walk them but they are barking day and night. To the point where I feel I need to ask them to come home and collect. They are sweet loving dogs but they bark at the smallest thing and it’s continuous. Inside and outside. Any advice ??

Why aren’t they exercised?

They owner said that they are too reactive. Anyway today I thought this is crazy and tried to walk them around the block and quickly realised what they meant. It was dangerous. Literally trying to kill every car person animal that came near. BUT tonight I suddenly had a thought and took them out in the garden separately on lead and beginners luck maybe but no barking.

Unfortunately people buy small dogs thinking they dont need to be exercised :eek::eek:but all dogs have a brain that needs stimulation otherwise like these two bark at anything as a stress reliever ..exercising them separately is a great idea ...could you go early in the morning whilst there isn't much around to make them reactive....:D
