Dog trainner

If you ask in your local vets they maybe able to help ...i know downlands have dog trainers info ..

Part of the concern with trainers and behaviourists is that it's an unregulated profession which basically means that my 92 year old neighbour who has never owned a dog in her life could if she wished set herself up in business as a trainer / behaviourist . However one of the reputable organisations is the Association of Per Dog Trainers - this link might help.

APDT

Alternatively if you have a branch of the Dogs Trust near you, I have been hearing good things about their classes.

Is there anything specific you are trying to train? We might be able to offer our own experiences.

My puppy keeps annoying my 3 year old dog and she just barks at him all the time plus he gets jealous of her a lot .

Its probably annoying him so its important he should have some time separate from her so he can have some peace and attention from you just for himself. I'm no expert on multi dog households so others may have more to add but each should have their personal space to relax. And please make sure it's you who steps in - it would be unfair on both of them to ask him to sort it out.

Dogs don't feel jealousy in the same way as we do - can you describe exactly what happens when he is doing whatever it is that makes you think that (before, during, after)?

If I try and play with them both the puppy will try take the toys away from the older dog or attacks her.

the puppy will try take the toys away from the older dog

Dogs have little respect for 'yours' and 'mine' - especially puppies. This is where playing separately might be worth considering.
or attacks her.
Is it attack or is it the sort of rough play puppies engage in? Either way I think you need to step in and protect your older dog from the puppy, as he probably finds it really annoying.

I would put a house line on your pup - a light nylon lead with no loop to get caught on anything - and every time she pesters the older dog, quietly lead her away and stop the fun. In time she'll learn not to pester quite so much, and when the older dog is more relaxed, he may be happier to play.

Also, you say 'My puppy keeps annoying my 3 year old dog and she just barks at him all the time plus he gets jealous of her a lot', and 'puppy will try take the toys away from the older dog or attacks her': I'm confused - which is the female and which is the male?

The 3yr old is a female shih tzu cross and the puppy is a male pug cross french bull dog
