I like the concept of the travel rug! I have taken 'my' Leonberger cross to my local before and he laid right across the floor like yours except he kinda went from wall to bar.. thankfully because of the 'oh my god that dog is so big!' factor he totally got away with it:D

Love the way he's sprawled! As for the rug thing - part of Harri's puppy class 101 was to mat train.

He does it beautifully! In class.

In real life he is much more likely to do a Jasper!
 
Dudleys blanket makes a lovely lap blanket. To keep my feet and legs warm. Makes a nice snuggly for my afternoon nap too.
