We need somewere with paths ok for a wheelchair doesnt ave to be tarmacked or anything if you could push a pram round i can get round in my chair. I think the dogs could do with a change aswell so any ideas wecome thanks

Try Jumbles or Entwistle reservoirs the gound is quite good (mainly paths) as long as we haven't had a prolonged wet spell, both nice walks and only a few miles round, with car parks etc. A bit further is Rivington Country park (Horwich) a really lovely place.

What about Hollingworth lake in Lancashire?? A really pretty place with car parks and a good fish and chip shop for after your walk- you can sit by the lake to eat them, watch out for the Canada geese, they like to "goose" your bum, LOL! (w00t)

Bet they would still try!!!! Funny but they always got me, the kids loved it. I would be frantically handing out bread and one of the little sods always managed to sneak round and get me!

My poor Billy got bitten by a JRT last summer. he had 20 stitches in his side, and was on his lead, the other dog wasnt. I still see the other owner with his dog off lead  He lets it run round on the beach around children and other dogs- not a care. I carry a big stick now, I dont want to risk my children or dogs again, I look like a lunatic, LOL! :b Hope poor Lacey is ok :(

im at the hospital with alexs for her infusion tomorrow and its supposed to rain wednsday so think i will have a look on thursday with the whippys thanks tracey

How far are you happy to travel? We love Delamere Forest, can get a map from the visitor centre of all the different routes, nice wide paths if you stick to the main routes... Sale Water Park Junction 6 M60 walk along the Mersey to Chorlton Water Park (ice cream vans at both these most days as an incentive :clown: :clown: ) ... Dunham Park but mostly cannot let dogs off lead... Lymm Dam where they have recently improved the path all the way round...

Added tip: Delamere Forest is great but there are lots of horses so depends what yours are like around them - we sometimes have to put ours back on the lead because they think horses are big dogs and get a bit too close trying to play..!

that could be iffy with lacey then she was kicked with one before we got her prity badly still has the scares on her side. so shes scared stiff of them. but the others are ok well they are with donlys so should be with horses i hope lol. its funny when peopel metion places you think oh yes forgot about there. when you wnat to go somewereb you just carnt think of anywere so i am wrighting all these places down
