Dogs Die In Car

     No Excuses for this

It makes me wish that people who do such things with their dogs would think twice before they get them . Dogs cant mean anything to them !

  When will folk ever learn. At the Garden centre i work, we are contantly having to get people to return to their cars, merrily shopping while the dog boils..... we left a window open

One bloke said after i asked him to go and remove his dog immediately as it was in distress. " hang on while i just choose my water feature"

and im not allowed to be rude so I just said either now or ill call the police

I save empty 2 litre plastic pop bottles. Fill them with water then put in freezer. When you go to a show or racing they can be fixed to the side of cage with plastic ties. Dogs always have water in cages and a fan running. They get misted if its exceptionally hot. Not forgetting the sun shield over windows. Damp towels help too. Cant think of anything else but Im sure other readers will have some helpful hints. Cant imagine how those poor dogs must have suffered.

I've read on another forum that a couple of dogs died at Blackpool champ show last week. It says they were not exibhitors dogs but visitors who took their pets with them and rather than put them in the unentered dogs tent they left them in the car.

I really hope the SSPCA come down on these idiotic so called dog lovers for allowing their pets to boil to death.

Still this happens again & again - What is it with some people? Are they really that dense they think a dog will be ok in the car with just a tiny crack of a window open.

Most horrendous stories of animal cruelty if ever there was, leaving a dog in a hot car.

B'stards!

OH ffs !! when will people ever learn

Poor dogs :( What a horrific death

You would think a Police dog handler would know better   Probably not a thing will happen to them apart from a slap on the wrists. IMO they should lose their jobs
