Hi all

I am studying a degree in fine art and for my final project I am studying movement. My starting point will be the motion of running dogs like greyhounds and whippets. I really need as many photos as possible for reference. I am asking for anyone who would like to help me to post your photos here or you can email them to me at sarahleehenderson@hotmail.com If anyone has any frame by frame shots that would be extreemly helpfull. These photos will be used as REFERENCE ONLY. I need to study how the dogs move when running and I am at a bit of a disadvantage right now as my own girl was injured last week and had to get stitched up so she wont be running anywhere for a while. Please all photos would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Sarah

Hi Sarah

I've sent you an e-mail with a few piccies of Blue running - would have just posted them on this thread but Photobucket isn't working for me for some reason.

Good luck with your final project  :luck: :luck:

have a look in Jacs file she has some fantastic shots from the non-ped racing (wild whippies)

wild whippies will have loads, i'm sure she'll see this post - she has radar on any topics that include the word photo lol

Hi Sarah,

Photo album is here> http://wildwhippies.myphotoalbum.com/ downloading from the site is restricted but if you have a good look through and drop me a PM of the image names, I'll email you full size images for use in your project.

I've also got some scanned diagrams of dog locomotion (specifically whippets demonstrating carpal hyper-extension) that may be of interest to you.
