i was down at that very expencive ,,,pet store acorn :lol: :lol: getting the dogs there weekly chew,s for teeth

when i noticed there waterproof winter jackets ....£16 any size

noticed they go over top of dogs and under there bellys,,,,i thought woo there smart,,,and the lassie swear by them,,,i,e her dogs can roll about they wont come off,,,,i have to addmitt they look the bee,s knee,s,,,,but before i buy them has anyone else have and what they think about them???????????

i have to addimitt,,,jacket over,,plus there belly sound,s very snugg to me,,,and would be great in winter and spring,,,,as money short this year i what to know if its a good buy ,,as ive not come accross jackets that protect and give warmed to whippets belly,,,but i do need to get them new jackets as other ones just tend to blow up there back when there,s abit off wind,,,,,and up here my dogs are frezzing :lol: but i want to make sure i get it right this time,,,,i,e ( quality and last few years ) :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

wendy and a few others make jackets like that on k9 there in no problem with them coming off with that style just make sure you measure your dog properly i.e lengh and chest or better still take your dog with you

I just had four jackets hand made and names put on the jackets by alison armstrong for dogs for xmas delivered to my door for £20 each and I am very pleased with them I recommend alison to make your coats they top class and a very quick service but best luck were ever you get them from lyndon

I had someone in the shop last week with that kind of coat on. Didn't like them the underneath was soaked, to me they would give the dog cold in the stomach.

Wendy (fallenangel) does fab fleece jackets with the chest panel & snood hoods too.

Ours wear those with water proof padded snood coat from coats4k9's from ebay, i swear by them for cold winter days, especially for keeping them warm on the bend tracks.

thats what got me the fact,,, that i keep dogs,.i.e peeing on the chest,,,,they are waterproof,,wind proof e,t,c

but the fact i have dogs,,,might be an issue,,,but then iam open minded as dogs somitimes pee on themselfs anyhow,,,but if there i tight fit like racing jackets they dont hit them or normal winter coats lol

but i did get a pm,,,,and k9er did have apoint,,,,there maybe not messured for whippet breed,,,but then i might be ok,,,as if anyones seen my whippets they have the shape off a lab lol,,i,e i feed them too much lol

but i will take a gamble,,,as iam aload to take dogs down to size up,,,and if fitt i will give one jacket a go,,,must addimitt thou my conerns would be less if i had bitches not dog,s lol

if they get wet underneath,,,iam cool with that,,,its on jacket not on dog,,,,throw it in washing machine lol

but i will give one ago,,,if iam not happy with fitt ,,i wont buy,,,,,but iam betting man £16 is like a little flutter lol,,,,,,must addmitt they seem a good idea,,,only time will tell if they make the grade :thumbsup: if i buy one too try out :thumbsup:

You've just reminded me, 6 coats and 4 dogs. It doesn't really add up in the cold weather. Student loan comes in January ... hmmmm shopping

Cracking jacket david I put my jackets on the dogs xmas day they match all new cloths family have every xmas real please with my jackets nice photos dave

I find that general dog jackets don't fit whippets, if it fits the back and ribcage, it hangs off the neck and is lose around their tummies
