The Guardian have a feature: 'Left out in the cold: dogs at polling stations'.

Is it just me who wants to borrow someone's toddler, tie it up outside in the cold and rain, disappear into the polling station and wait for someone to take a photo of it?

Why can't they take them inside....one of the papers ran this story at the polling referendum. ....
I still see people leaving their dogs outside supermarkets :mad::(

It's such an irreresponsible thing to do. You hear about dogs being stolen from outside shops etc; many (30?) years ago it happened to a colleague. She got the dog back, after offering a huge reward - she was a little cross breed so had no financial value - but the colleague was honestly never the same. So sad.

Its trending on Twitter. Ive tweeted reminders not to leave your dogs outside.

Took mine in today but she wouldn’t walk on the shiny floor :D luckily hubs was with me so he stayed with her in the lobby area then we swapped over, they were quite happy to have her in there..:)

I’ve seen lots of people taking their dogs in with them - maybe we’re lucky in the south west!
