Nice looking dogs there matie..The breeding is only part of the final jigsaw puzzle, and you surely have done your part in producing two fine examples, a credit to you

Have to excuse the attire, and the hair cut, this was during my scruffy phase, the picture was from the early 80`s, the breeding goes a long way back

thanks bill,i have put alot of time and effort into them, hopefully when we get a nice windy night i will see them properly,we went out last night,it was a hurricane before we went out, just as we got into the first field the wind disappeared,we caught 6 out of 13 runs, not bad for pups, irish pup's little black dog sam is really starting to do the business,he has over 100 bunnies caught and hes only 13 months old

Thats the way mate, success is prortional to the effort you put in, Ive had lads who spoilt their dogs, lying for weeks on end in kennels, then taking them out now and again and expecting them to produce the goods  A working dog must be allowed to develope, and this starts from the day you get it. My early stuff was bred for big numbers, every pup Ive bred and worked I set a target for 100 rabbits before they were a year old, but these were deerhound based lurcher x lurchers, a little faster in developing than first crossers, your mates dog at 13 months and having so many rabbits is a really good achievement  but it will be 2-3 before you see its best potential, something to look forward to ehhh?
