Can anyone please HELP ! (w00t)

We have our beloved springer spaniel Bod who for some reason just cannot stop LICKING everyone he see's. This seems to have started after we lost our other springer Gus. Any ideas anyone ? We would be very grateful.

Thanks.

Clould be separation anxiety, are you able to speak to your vet they might be able to help or an animal behaviouist. Hope things turn out ok.

Licking in the canine world is a submissive thing.......... maybe your other dog was the top dog and he is now missing his leadership.......... just a thought but maybe just a little basic training and rewards will help him feel more secure again

GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH @ licking!!! Basil is the worlds worst and particularly likes feet. Gone are the days when one can kick off ones shoes and relax watching tv ..............Basil is there like a shot and almost seems manic about scraping his tongue right down in between your toes. Hes partial too to legs for some reason...thank god he's not human .....................he'd be a total fetishist lol :p

I have a lab who is a super slobberer , has to kiss any one she can get near . loves my feet as well but wont touch my partners :)
