I have just heard about this website on Crufts fm.

http://www.drivingwithdogs.co.uk/

It is a website which gives locations of pubs and dog walks near to motorways. Very useful if you need to find somewhere to exercise your dog whilst travelling. It is not a commercial site and not all the country is covered yet, but I am sure will be very useful.

Just bumping this up, as a lot of peeps who might find it useful were probably at Crufts when I posted this

 

Could be very useful when travelling to shows.

Thanks Pauline that's great. Will find somewhere to stop off on our way up to the Lakes in a couple of weeks.

We're also planning at least 2 journey's up to Scotland for shows this year, so will be brilliant for then :thumbsup:

I notice that there aren't a lot of northern walks yet. The site is run by a family who found the need themselves and have done their own research. I am sure they would be glad to hear of any suitable walks anyone finds themselves. I don't think they are particularly meant to be great scenic walks or anything, just somewhere suitable for a good leg stretch and if possible somewhere for human refreshment too. A combined effort would help everyine
