Not sure were to start but my poodle had an eye irritation so i took him to the vet. She prescribe the wrong medication which was Atropine Sulfate Ophthalmic Ointment. This caused his eye to dilate which I didn't know this was the wrong drug.

I found this out after taking him to a eye specialist telling me that his eye might be dilated for up to 2 to 3 weeks. Now his eye has got red again with yellow pus coming out of the corner of his eye. My question is : How can I find out if this drug I used (Atropine Sulfate Ophthalmic Ointment) has done any harm to his eye, Thank you Leroy

You can go for a second opinion. Vets are bound by an ethical code of conduct to the animal and the client. Another vet will not take sides with the original vet just to protect them. The eye specialist would be a good choice to use.
