Just been speaking to my friend Gill and she tells me that her husband Sam is in hospital awaiting a QUADRUPLE heart bypass!

Because of this it means they can't now go on holiday to Cornwall the week starting 17th June. They have a 2 bed cottage booked that sleeps 4. Dogs are welcome and there is a secure garden.

Its at Bohortha on the Roseland Peninsula near Portscatho. They've already paid £410 but will accept £300. Anyone interested should ring Gill on 01278 732701.

Well judy im sure the let of the cottage is the least of your friends problems, would have had it myself, but are going elsewhere, a successful and speedy recovery is what i offer here

What a shame :( I hope you friends hubby recovers really quickly, won't the owners give them an alternate date or something especially under the circumstances it would be a nice place to recouperate later on

No the owners know about the situation and they won't swop them for another date. :(

If we didn't have elderly cats which we can't leave then we'd have taken the holiday. I could do with one.

It sounds like a fabulous place to take your dogs and have a holiday.

Hope your friend makes a full recovery, we have booked a Welsh cottage for July for a week otherwise I would have been tempted. Have you thought about putting it on Ebay?

Gills has had a taker from K9 already so that is one less thing for her to worry about :luck:

and a nice whippet is going to have a great time running on the beaches in a couple of weeks :D

How unco-operative of the cottage owners  I don't think I'd be too quick in going back to them to make another booking.

I sincerely hope your friends Husband's operation goes well and that he makes a full and speedy recovery. :luck: :luck:

My Uncle had a quadruple by-pass done a few years back and he recovered very quickly and was back to his old self in no time.
