Your lucky John, took me three goes to get blidworth results on at all, Hope that you all had a good days racing on the bends and i see some young dogs coming through. Sorry to hear about Debs place, trouble is they dont do owt to them if they find who it is.

Fisrt picture (above) is Gypsy Queen's 40lb heat, the fourth picture (above) is of 2nd and 3rd place.

:) Dave where's the photo of skye, did you run her or one of the lads, and hows your pup going, started racing him yet,

 excellent pics david. fleesh a few from the north have been injured and were not quite ready ie challenger, wor ruby our own whisper whizz hand slipped him round the other week then he got injured so never had time to get him ready. a few will have been having seasons and there r some that dont run on the bends. hope thats answered your questions fleesh  lots of spectators from the north though lol

yes good days racing, really pleased for me mates garry&chris with this excelent little dog leo,one to watch in the future.and well done to all that raced

I think it was a great shame that there was only 50 dogs and as someone else has already mentioned only 20 from the area which when you consider how many dogs they have in that area its not what anyone would describe as well attended. We are always hearing why do all the races go down south well the answers right there. Putting opens on the same day as others does not help-- maybe with a little more thought every club would benefit ,from some common sense which should be applied when deciding on dates for opens by all.I myself prefer bend racing but if the track owners dont get a good turn out they will soon stop accommodating us. Well done Gary and his good lady wife who incidently does all the work with Leo he was just short of a few runs in company but he is going to be one to watch over the comming months

also steve there is one or two from the north won"t race at a new fed event, i know one or two isnt many but every dog counts ,but never mind it was still a enjoyable days racing well done to all the winners :D

also a Lott of people wont run the bends including myself ,so a Lott of straight dogs not attending .but the quality made up for the quantity but opens clashing certainly does not help ,well done everyone who attended and well done the committee for a well organized race meeting ,not forgetting Joe the owner of easington track a very helpfull man .thanks Joe  a big well done to my mate gaz with leo well done all

;) What distance were the dogs running over at Easington?

It was only 240 - quite short really.

Just looking at the track you might estimate dimensions of 110 1st straight, 70m bend then 60m dash to the finish.

Still it adds a bit of variety I suppose.

Lets you know when your bitches first sprint is not up to scratch lol, Moany Moany struggled a bit but she's only had 2 or 3 runs since the middle of June.
