Rachel Snelgrove (Huntinghill)
I started showing dogs from an early age beginning with my Mother’s E.S.S at exemption shows etc, then handling her Border Collies at Open level for me. I also handled in Breed, and Junior Handling competitions, Dobes, Rough Collie and GSDs for friends and then a Whippet for a friend who owned Irish Wolfhounds. In 1983 I was brought my first Whippet- Silver Lady of Huntinghill. I showed 'Toffee' in Breed, Open & Champ, and also did extremely well in Junior Handling with her, I qualified for the Richmond finals many times & also represented Poole CS in the Jersey Handling competitions.
I then went on to handle dogs owned by my Mother and many years ago we become partners and I joined the affix - Huntinghill. Also many years ago handling for another exhibitor I won the CC at Bath under Shelagh Thompson & then showed the bitch at Crufts for them. Since then we have made up a Champion and taken a RCC with two other dogs & I am currently handling a new puppy in the ring. I started Judging Whippets in 1991 and has also judged other Hound Breeds at Open level. I am also committee member of The Whippet Club Of Wales again now after taking a brief break to have my first child.
I has also shown our GBGV with some success although this year we have been shown 'Remy' sparingly.
Mark Cocozza (Freecloud)
I began showing Afghan Hounds when I was 11years old and was a successful Junior Handler reaching the final of Junior Handler of the year in 1984. Since then I have owned/bred Champions in 4 breeds. 7 Afghan Hounds including Group winner, #1 Afghan Hound and the youngest bitch Champion in the breed, 2 Min wire/Dachs 1 PBGV also a group winner and 1 Tibetan Terrier who is a multi BIS and group winner. I have been judging Afghan Hounds since 1985 and Whippets since 1992. I am passed to award CC's in Afghan Hounds,Dachshunds, Finish Spitz, Borzoi, PBGV, Borzoi and Basenji and I am looking forward greatly to judging bitches at The EastAnglian Whippet Club and would like to thank the committee for the great honour of inviting me to officiate at this event.
Many Thanks
